OCPA's Daniels Event Crowd Expected

A crowd expected to top 600 will be hand for the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs "Liberty Gala" in Tulsa tomorrow night with Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels as the main attraction.

Daniels will speak and sign copies of his book, Keeping The Republic.

Jason Sutton of OCPA said, "We expect about 600-650 in attendance, including Governor Fallin, many of our elected officials, most of our Congressional delegation and numerous candidates for elected office."

Daniels, touted as a Republican presidential candidate this year before announcing he would not run, is credited with restoring Indiana's fiscal soundness and cutting fat from his state's budget.
