Mullin Sits On $306,000 Campaign Chest

Republican Markwayne Mullin said today he has $306,000 in cash on hand for his campaign in the 2nd Congressional District.

He said the Mullin for Congress campaign has more than three times the cash on hand than its closest competitor, and raised more than twice as much from individual donors.

According to information from the FEC on Monday following the filing deadline, Mullin also led this quarter in dollars raised at just over $128,000.

“I am honored and humbled that so many Oklahomans are getting on board, especially since I’ve never been in elected office and don’t have an existing base of donors. I think people truly want a businessman from the private sector, and not a politician,” Mullin said.

Mullin has raised a total of $341,503, including a personal loan and in-kind contributions of $108,000, since officially entering the race.

This report comes on the heels of the last 10 days of the previous quarter when Mullin launched his fundraising and garnered more than $100,000 in contributions.
