Whatever Ever Happened To...Robin Maxey?

From a high profile job in the Oklahoma Senate working for Democratic leaders, former newspaperman Robin Maxey disappeared, at least in Oklahoma.

But Maxey landed on his feet in Oregon, where he's been communications director for Democratic Senate President Peter Courtney since November 2007. Courtney, a veteran of the Oregon House (once its leader) and a fixture in that state's politics for more than two decades, is considered a pragmatic liberal by most observers.

Maxey previously served as Communications Director for Oklahoma Senate President Pro Tempores Cal Hobson and Mike Morgan.

Prior to his legislative service, Maxey worked for 17 years as a newspaper reporter and editor in central Oklahoma for Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc.

He's a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.
