Lankford: Opposes Taxes, Wants Cuts

Read It All At www.newsok.com ~ U. S. Rep. James Lankford disagrees with one of the richest men in the country, telling a town hall crowd Tuesday night he opposed raising taxes on the wealthy and that he would fight for spending cuts in the federal budget first before any increase in taxes.

Lankford, R-Oklahoma City, also told about 225 people who attended the community forum at Francis Tuttle Technology Center's Portland campus that he didn't like negative language being used to describe members of the tea party, a movement made up mostly of conservatives and libertarians.
