Lankford Names Altman Deputy Chief Of Staff

Congressman James Lankford (R-OK) has named Michelle Altman as Deputy Chief of Staff for his congressional office.

Altman has served the Fifth District for more than four years, working for both Congresswoman Mary Fallin during her two terms in Congress and Congressman Lankford since January of this year. She will remain the office’s Legislative Director.

“Michelle has shown extraordinary leadership in our office and has earned this promotion,” said Congressman Lankford. “She has quickly gained my respect in our months working together, as well as that of my Chief of Staff and both staffs in Washington and Oklahoma. The feedback I receive from constituents and other Congressional offices with whom she works is outstanding.

“Her dedication to the Fifth District is without question. She understands our communities and the issues our families, friends and businesses are facing. In this new position, Michelle will be able to better serve our office and our constituents, and I am excited for the opportunities ahead.

“I am delighted for Michelle to assume this key leadership position in my office, as she serves our District and our nation with distinction.”
