Faught Withdraws From Speaker's Race

Rep. George Faught has pulled out of the race for speaker of the House.

Faught is a candidate for Congress in the 2nd District and withdrew for that reason, he said.

Two House members still seeking the top post are Speaker Pro Tem Jeff Hickman, R-Fairview, and Rep. T.W. Shannon, R-Lawton.

The election will be held on October 17th.
