Fallin Names Four To Boards

Governor Fallin announced appointments to the State Credit Union Board, State Board of Osteopathic Examiners, Eastern Oklahoma State College Board of Regents and the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission.

“Each person appointed brings with them brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to these positions,” Fallin said. “I know they’ll all serve our state well.”

State Credit Union Board
Gina Wilson of Jenks is the chief executive officer of Oklahoma Central Credit Union. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University. Wilson’s appointment requires Senate confirmation. She is replacing Leslie Rector, who resigned.

Board of Osteopathic Examiners
Cathy Taylor of Tulsa is an attorney and partner at the Perrine, McGivern, Redemann, Berry and Taylor law firm. She earned her juris doctorate from the University of Tulsa. She has been reappointed and will serve as a lay member.

Eastern Oklahoma State College Board of Regents
Brian Lott of McAlester is the director of ammunition operations at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in elementary education, and a master’s degree in business administration from Cameron University. Lott has served on the Frink-Chambers school board since 2005. He will serve a seven-year term expiring in 2018. He is replacing Mike Bailey. The nomination requires Senate confirmation.

Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission
Gean Atkinson of Edmond is the president of Atkinson Advertising Associates. He earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma. The nomination requires Senate confirmation. Atkinson replaces Melvin Moran, who has resigned, as the Fifth Congressional District representative.
