Corn Preparing 2nd District Announcement?

Democrat Kenneth Corn, the party nominee for lieutenant governor last year, is reported preparing today to announce as a candidate for the 2nd District seat in Congress now held by Dan Boren.

Boren announced today he won't seek reelection.

Corn lives in Poteau, in the southern heart of the district.

Insiders say the former legislator suspected Boren might not run and had heard that former Congressman Brad Carson will run. That possiblity, they said, doesn't dissuade Corn.
