Hobson OU Resignation Confirmed

University of Oklahoma official Jim Pappas has confirmed The McCarville Report Online's earlier report that former Senate President Pro Tem Cal Hobson has resigned his position at OU.

Pappas replied to an inquiry from CapitolBeatOK. He said Hobson resigned effective April 15th.

OU sources claim Hobson was involved in an on-campus incident in which alcohol was involved. Hobson resigned as Senate leader in 2005 and entered an alcohol rehabilitation program.
