Fallin Names Three To College Boards

Governor Fallin today announced appointments to the Board of Regents for Carl Albert State College and the Board of Regents for Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC).

The governor selected Lavon Williams to serve on the Carl Albert board and Devery Youngblood and Tony Tyler for the OCCC board.

Each appointment requires confirmation by the Oklahoma State Senate.

“These men are all experienced and proven leaders in their respective fields. Education is the key to our long-term success in Oklahoma. Each these individuals will work to provide our students with a quality education while ensuring our colleges continue to produce the skilled workforce we need to successfully compete in the global economy,” Fallin said.
