Tulsa City Government Turmoil Continues

Tulsa's municipal government continues to be wracked by turmoil as City Councilor John Eagleton wants Mayor Dewey Bartlett ousted from office on allegations that he is guilty of violating his oath of office, malfeasance and criminal behavior.

In a two-page letter, Eagleton, a Republican like Bartlett, asks Governor Fallin to request that Attorney General Scott Pruitt investigate the allegations against Bartlett, now in office for 14 months.

The Governor’s Office is in the process of reviewing the information to respond to the councilor’s letter, spokesman Alex Weintz said.
