No Kids In Lottery Ads Bill Advances

Rep. Harold Wright
House Bill 1321, which would prevent the Oklahoma Lottery Commission from using children in advertisements, is making its way through the legislative process.

“Even though it is a legal activity for adults, it is not legal for children to participate in the lottery,” said Rep. Harold Wright, R-Weatherford, the House sponsor. “To me, it is not good to have children promoting something that has proven to be addictive."
