OCPA Unveils Redesigned Website, Adds Blog

The Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA) unveiled its newly designed website today just in time for the beginning of the 2011 legislative session.

“This is an exciting step forward for our organization,” said OCPA President Michael Carnuccio. “OCPA is increasingly being relied upon by both lawmakers and the public alike for timely, credible, easy-to-understand policy analysis. This new website gives us the flexibility to respond quickly to the policy discussions of the day and allows us to take better advantage of video and social media that many Oklahomans have moved toward. We also chose a modern, understated design that makes finding and using our research and publications quicker and easier.”

The domain name for OCPA’s updated website remains unchanged – www.ocpathink.org.  

In addition, OCPA has launched a new policy analysis blog called Inter Alia, a Latin term meaning “among other things,” where readers can get shorter, more editorialized takes on current issues updated daily.

“Our goal is freedom,” said Carnuccio. “We aren’t about politics or political parties. We exist to educate Oklahomans and legislators about the consequences of public policy that diminishes freedom, shrinks our economy and increases our dependence on government. Our hope is this new website will be the one-stop shop for anyone interested in advancing liberty in Oklahoma.”
