Governor's Race: $11.4 Million-plus Economic Boost

Oklahoma's 2010 race for governor pumped more than $11 million into the economy and the beneficiaries ranged from consultants to television and radio stations to advertising novelty companies to website developers.

Reports of the four main candidates, Republicans Mary Fallin and Randy Brogdon and Democrats Jari Askins and Drew Edmondson, show they raised more than $11.4 million.

Fallin raised more than $4.1 million, while fellow Republican Randy Brogdon raised $432,000. Askins also raised more than $4.1 million, $1.25 million of it her own money, while Edmondson raised about $2.7 million.
