SD47 Special Election Is Today

Voters in northwest Oklahoma City's Senate District 47 select a new senator today to replace Lt. Governor Todd Lamb in the seat.

Election officials expect a low turnout in the winner-take-all election despite the presence of five Republican candidates who have waged aggressive campaigns. Bone-chilling weather likely will keep some voters at home.

The candidates are Carol Hefner, Greg Treat, Todd Brawley, Steve Dobbs and Kenny Goza.
