Impotent Feds Go After Gun Dealers

By Katie Pavlich/Townhall ~ Great news. The federal government has failed to get the U.S.-Mexico border under control and now they want all gun dealers near the border to report multiple (according to the feds multiple means two rifles) sales of high powered rifles.

From AP: The federal agency that monitors gun sales wants weapons dealers near the Mexican border to start reporting multiple sales of high-powered rifles, according to a notice published in the Federal Register. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has asked the White House budget office to approve an emergency request requiring border-area gun dealers to report the sales of two or more rifles to the same customer within a five-day period.

Let's look at this logically: The federal government won't allow local law enforcement in Arizona to ask someone who has already committed a crime what their legal status is, but is now requesting the White House force gun dealers near the border to report fellow citizens for practicing their Second Amendment rights given to them by the Constitution of the United States after they purchase a grand total of two or more high powered rifles.
