Controlled Gun Saves Tulsa Clerks

From The Tulsa World ~ One of two masked robbers who were firing a rifle as they entered a Tulsa convenience store was shot to death by a clerk late Thursday.

Tulsa Police Capt. Dave Roberts said the two robbers walked into Zeba Food Mart No. 2, at 506 E. 56th St. North, with a rifle around 10:45 p.m. and started shooting.

An employee returned fire with a handgun, shooting one of the masked intruders. Not knowing whether the other robber was still in the store, the employees then ducked behind the counter until police arrived and found that the man was dead, Roberts said.
