Askins Responds To Concealed Carry Criticism

Lt. Governor Jari Askins says those who claim she's against the 2nd Amendment and concealed carry don't know what they are talking about.

She's responded to the criticism, by two of opponent Mary Fallin's spokespersons, in a post on the local blog section of a national site.

To the claim she has voted against concealed carry, Askins wrote, "Not true. I voted for the final bill that passed on conceal to carry and I also support open carry legislation. I’ve been endorsed by the NRA in the past and have an A rating. I not only go hunting every year I also host a Turkey Hunt through the Lt. Governor’s office to support small businesses, and this year I shot a 19# turkey which you can see here."
