State House Liberals Deride Republicans In Report

State House liberals are out this week with a "Progressive States" report in which Republican conservatives are accused of fostering "frivilous" measures rather than focusing on what the liberals view as serious issues.

The assessment comes in a report from Rep. Ryan Kiesel, D-Seminole, and Valerie Rodgers, research and policy director for House Democrats.

The two report to Democrats that they were contacted by the Progressive States Network and requested to "provide a summary of our legislative session for their national e-newsletter," Rodgers said in an email.

The accompanying report portrays liberals favorably while stating, "the Republican caucuses infested the legislative agenda with frivilous and divisive issues...."
