Lankford To Backers: Ignore Attack, Stay Positive

Republican James Lankford this afternoon posted a message for his followers on Facebook after an "attack postcard" from his 5th District opponent Kevin Calvey went out.

Wrote Lankford: "When you get home, you may find an attack postcard from Kevin Calvey. It is true irony. Irony 1: Kevin Calvey sent out yet another negative ad in which he accuses me of being negative. Irony 2: Kevin accuses me of being a politician. The status quo response is to go negative when you are behind. We have 7 more days, please continue to stay positive and help us spread the word, August 24 is coming."
