Brogdon Signs Taxpayer Protection Pledge

Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) announced today that Senator Randy Brogdon, Republican candidate for goveror, has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, a commitment to constituents to “oppose and veto any and all efforts to increase taxes.”

To date, twenty nine members of the Oklahoma legislature have signed the Pledge. Additionally, nine governors and nearly 1,100 state legislators across the country have signed the Pledge.

“Sen. Brogdon has been a steadfast defender of the taxpayer serving as Taxpayer Protection Caucus chair in the legislature. Oklahoma taxpayers need leaders such as Randy, committed to fiscal responsibility and pro-growth economic policies,” said Grover Norquist, president of ATR. “By signing the Pledge, Randy Brogdon demonstrates that he understands the problems of hard-working taxpayers nationwide, but especially the taxpayers of Oklahoma.”
