OERB Funds College Scholarships
The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board OERB) has awarded $300,000 in scholarships to help educate the oil and gas industry's next generation.
Eighty-three students in petroleum-related majors at the state's three largest universities will receive scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 after being named OERB's Petroleum Scholars for 2010-11.
Those who reapply for the scholarship each year may be eligible to receive up to $10,500 during their four years of college.
