Matt Pinnell Elected GOP State Chairman

Matt Pinnell is the new chairman of the Oklahoma Republican Party.

Pinnell was elected without opposition by the Republican State Committee on Saturday. He succeeds Gary Jones, who resigned to campaign for state auditor and inspector.

Pinnell, 30, has been director of operations for the Republican Party and regional director for The John Hancock Committee for States, an organization that promotes civic engagement.
