Askins, Fallin Use Google's Advertising Network

At least two Oklahoma candidates for governor are using the Google Adsense advertising network to promote their campaigns.

Popup ads for Democrat Jari Askins and Republican Mary Fallin have appeared on The McCarville Report Online's 2010 election day countdown clock, shown in the column on the right.

Both campaigns are using the ads to seek support via their websites.

Askins' ad links to a site promoting Askins' stance against "pay for play" in politics; another ad features "equal pay for equal work."
