Rasmussen Hypothetical: Coburn Over Henry

Rasmussen Reports says a recent Oklahoma poll pitting incumbent Senator Tom Coburn against Governor Brad Henry showed Coburn the victor by 12 percent.

The hypothetical matchup showed Coburn with 52 percent, Henry with 40 percent.

The poll showed Coburn with favorable opinion of 63 percent, unfavorable of 31 percent. Henry had 63 percent favorable, 33 percent unfavorable.

The poll found President Obama with just 38 percent approval; 62 percent disapproved.

Henry has said he has no interest in seeking the Senate seat. Thus far, no Democrat has announced as an opponent to Coburn.
