Living Her Dream: ESPN's Amy Lawrence
Former Oklahoma City radio news reporter and sports talk host Amy Lawrence is living her dream; she's now the voice of the Hartford (CT) Hawks women's basketball team.
Lawrence, a former KTOK news reporter who later hosted her own show on KREF in Norman, broadcasts on ESPN. She's shown here on the right during a telecast with a co-anchor several years ago. From the Hawks website: "For the fifth season Hartford women's basketball coach Jennifer Rizzotti will host the Jen Rizzotti Radio Show presented by Nestle Purina PetCare on ESPN Radio 1410 AM. The show will be held four times throughout the season. The one hour program features discussion about the season, upcoming games, players as well as questions from the audience and phone in questions. Rizzotti will be joined by the voice of the Hawks Amy Lawrence...."
