Jeff Rabon, Beer Can In Hand, Arrested Again
From www.newsok.com ~ Jeff Rabon, a former state senator from Hugo, was arrested on a public drunkenness complaint late Tuesday at an Oklahoma City hotel.
Rabon smelled of booze and could barely stand up when police found him in the lobby of Sleep Inn at 5200 N Classen, according to an Oklahoma City police report. He was holding an empty Bud Light can.
Hotel workers told police that Rabon stays there frequently and had been kicking a panel in an elevator and refusing to stay in his room.
Rabon, 47, was taken to the Oklahoma County jail. He was released Wednesday, according to jail records.

This is the fourth alcohol-related run-in with the law for Rabon, a Democrat who served in the state Senate from 1996 until 2008.
The former lawmaker was charged with aggravated drunk driving in 2007 after he crashed a truck into another vehicle. His blood-alcohol level at the time was twice the legal limit.
His trial on that charge, a misdemeanor, is in April in Choctaw County District Court, according to court records. He has pleaded not guilty.
Rabon was convicted in 1989 of transporting an open container and in 1990 of driving under the influence.
