Poll: Internet Most Reliable News Source
A Zogby Poll, commissioned by IFC, found 37.6 percent of those asked consider the Internet the most reliable source of news while just 20.3 percent consider national TV news most reliable and 16 percent say radio is the most reliable source.
Also revealed:• 39.3 percent of those surveyed trust FOX News most for the issues they consider most important, followed by CNN with 16 percent and MSNBC with 15 percent.• 72.6 percent believe the news they read and see is biased.• 88.7 percent Republican and 57.5 percent of Democrat respondents describe the news media as biased. Zogby surveyed 3,472 adults nationwide on November 5 and 6. The poll was conducted on behalf of IFC which this week debuted a new show called The Media Project which, "reveals the truth behind TV news."
