U. S., Local Chambers Seek Immigration Law Block

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is asking a federal judge to block Oklahoma's anti-illegal immigration law, claiming it interferes with federallaw that regulates the employment of unauthorized workers.

The U.S. Chamber challenged the constitutionality of the state law Friday in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Oklahoma City.

The State Chamber of Oklahoma, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, the Tulsa Metro Chamber and other business groups joined the lawsuit.
