Morgan, Rice Seek College Presidency?

Democratic Party insider and blogger Calvin Rees posts today on his Democrats of Oklahoma Community Forum (http://www.demookie.com/) that Senate President Co-Pro Tem Mike Morgan (pictured) of Stillwater and former State Rep. Larry Rice seek to become the next president of "a university." The president of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Larry Williams, has announced he is stepping down effective June 30th, and there is a vacancy at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa as well. A well-informed source tells TMRO that Morgan's application is on file with officials at Northern Oklahoma College, where President Joe Kinzer, local media has reported, will leave at the end of the school year. Kinzer has been the school's president since 1990.
