Oklahoma City Sets Special Election Date

Oklahoma City has called a special election to fill the unexpired term for council member in Ward 7, the seat vacated by Willa Johnson's election as county commissioner.

A special primary election will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007. A special general election, if needed, will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2008.

Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted October 15 through 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day at the Oklahoma County Election Board office located at 4201 North Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City.
