Marty Quinn Announces HD 9 Campaign
Claremore businessman Marty Quinn announced today he will seek the Republican nomination for the open seat in House District 9.
Incumbent Rep. Tad Jones is leaving the House to join the Grand Lake Association.
Quinn has been a representative of Shelter Insurance Company for the past 27 years, and he believes his business experience will prove beneficial as a state legislator.
Quinn and his wife Kelley, have two children. Daughter Lynsay is a college student and son Tyler is a senior at Claremore High School.
The Quinns are longtime members of the Blue Starr Church of Christ in Claremore. Marty serves as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.
Quinn recently served ten years on the board of Hope Harbor Children’s Home. Currently serving on the Claremore School Foundation and the Claremore Sports Foundation has allowed him the opportunity to be a part of numerous school building projects.
