AG Probes Possible Canadian Oil Dumping

The Oklahoman's Randy Ellis reports today that, "The Oklahoma attorney general’s office has opened a preliminary inquiry into concerns that oil from Canada possibly is being dumped on Oklahoma markets in potential violation of state and federal antitrust laws, Attorney General Drew Edmondson confirmed Tuesday."

Harold Hamm Named Entrepreneur Of The Year

Harold Hamm of Enid, founder and CEO of Continental Resources, has been named "Entrepreneur of the Year 2007" by Ernst & Young.
Hamm was honored for building his company into a major independent oil and gas exploration and production company. It began as a one-truck oilfield-service business and now operates in the Rocky Mountain, Mid-Continent and Gulf Coast regions.

Harold Hamm, Lynn Schusterman Make Forbes List

Two more Oklahomans have been added to Forbes Magazine's list of the 400 richest Americans, bringing to six the number of Oklahomans on the list.
The additions are Harold Hamm, chief executive officer of Continental Resources, and Lynn Schusterman, widow of oilman Charles Schusterman.
Others on the list are George Kaiser, whose worth is estimated at $11 billion and who still tops the Oklahoma list at No. 26. Other Oklahomans on the list are Aubrey McClendon and Tom Ward, the co-founders of Chesapeake Energy Corp., and David Green, founder of Hobby Lobby Stores.
