McLoud machinist Cole Koszara has announced he's a candidate for the Democratic nomination for the House District 27 seat being vacated by Republican Shane Jett.
Koszara said the most important issues in Oklahoma right now are building up the state‘s dilapidated infrastructure and sparking job creation.
“We deserve better than the status quo of busted roads and crumbling bridges and it is time we made fixing them a priority,” he said. “We need blue collar people serving in the Legislature who know what it’s like to work hard, and someone who knows the choices and challenges people face in their everyday lives. Someone, who will fight for good, permanent jobs for Oklahoma and who are willing to put the interest of the citizens of Oklahoma ahead of those of corporations.”
A pro-life advocate and supporter of individual gun ownership rights, Koszara said he hopes to bring the Oklahoma values of responsibility and independence back to the state house.
Koszara previously served as the Vice Chair of the Pottawatomie County Democratic Party.
