TRUST Applauds Fallin's Bridge Fix Program

The president and co-chairman of Transportation Revenues Used Strictly For Transportation (TRUST), an advocacy group dedicated to funding and restoring Oklahoma’s infrastructure, commended Governor Mary Fallin for her 2012 transportation infrastructure investment initiative unveiled today at the state Capitol:

“The Governor is right on point with this initiative which will lift Oklahoma out of the cellar, and allow ODOT to address dozens of additional structurally deficient bridges, not only on our state highway system but on county roads as well. This program will build on the vital road and bridge investment made possible by the Legislature over the past six years. TRUST looks forward to working with Governor Fallin as the initiative is presented to the Legislature next session” – Neal McCaleb, TRUST president.

“TRUST has supported the Legislature’s increased investment in transportation over the past several years and Governor Fallin’s initiative will raise the bar even higher by greatly enhancing ODOT’s eight-year construction plan. Simply stated, ODOT will be able to repair and build dozens of additional bridges not currently in the plan.
