Lee Roy Selmon: Mourn Loss Of This Good Man

From www.newsok.com ~ Teammates insist the greatest player in Oklahoma football history was never knocked off his feet, but not even Lee Roy Selmon could conquer the massive stroke he suffered at home Friday.

Led by Selmon and his two brothers, Oklahoma's defenses were so dominant in the mid-1970s, if the Sooners won the coin toss, they elected to kick off.

After spending two days in critical condition and with family members by his side, Selmon died Sunday in Tampa, Fla. He was just 56.
