Dan Boren Praises Douglas, Cloud

Congressman Dan Boren today applauded the appointment of Edmond Mayor Patrice Douglas to the Corporation Commission.

Said Boren: "I would like to praise Governor Fallin for the selection of Patrice Douglas to fill the vacancy at the Corporation Commission left by Jeff Cloud. Douglas is widely known in Oklahoma as a consensus builder, and has done an excellent job as the Mayor of Edmond. I am pleased that she will continue in her role as a public servant at the Commission, one of Oklahoma's most demanding positions.

"The state of Oklahoma owes a great debt to Jeff Cloud for his dedicated service as Commissioner. He will be sorely missed, and I wish him the best of luck in his new position with Continental Resources."
