Voting Begins Today In SD43 Special Election

Early voting in the Senate District 43 special Republican primary election begins today.

The person elected will replace Senator Jim Reynolds, who resigned after being elected Cleveland County treasurer.

The two Republicans seeking the seat are Greg Childers of Del City and Theresa Nelson of Oklahoma City.

The lone Democrat to file is Kenneth Meador of Moore.

Voting in polling places begins Tuesday. Early voters may cast ballots at the Oklahoma County or Cleveland County election boards from 8-6 today and, 8-1 Saturday and 8-6 Monday.
