Farley's Daughter Files For HD1 Seat

The daughter of the late Rep. Rusty Farley today filed as an Independent candidate for his House District 1 seat.

Bethany Farley, 28, of Idabel, becomes the seventh candidate, and the second Independent, to file for the post.
 
She has been employed by the Department of Human Services office in Idabel for three years; she resigned to seek the seat. 

James Skipper, 20, of Smithville, mailed in his declaration of candidacy as an Independentand the required $200 cashiers check to the Election Board, which received it Tuesday.
