SD43 Special Election Dates Set By Fallin

Governor Fallin has set the dates for the special election for Senate District 43.

The candidate filing period for the Senate District 43 special election is June 13 through June 15, 2011, at the State Election Board in Room B-6 of the State Capitol in Oklahoma City.

The Special Primary Election is August 9, 2011.

The Special General Election is October 11, 2011.

Senate District 43 includes portions of Oklahoma and Cleveland Counties. The seat is being vacated in July by Senator Jim Reynolds when he takes office as Cleveland County Treasurer.
