Former KTOK Host Seeks LA Mayoral Nod

Kevin James, who in 2004 was the host of Oklahoma City radio station KTOK's morning show, is a candidate for mayor of Los Angeles.

James, a Republican, is an attorney and began his radio career in Los Angeles in 2005 at KABC-AM. He now works at KRLA-AM hosting a show that airs from midnight to 3 a.m.

James, who lives in the Laurel Canyon area of Los Angeles, has long been a critic of city officials, turning up at City Hall to comment on a range of issues from water and power rates to employee pensions.
