Thousand-Plus Jam Fallin Pre-Inaugural Ball

By Randy Krehbiel/Tulsa World in Jenks ~ Northeastern Oklahoma Republicans toasted the beginning of what, for them, is the most exciting time in the state's history Saturday night at the Oklahoma Aquarium.

More than 1,000 people filled the building's main foyer and the exhibit halls for Gov.-elect Mary Fallin's pre-inaugural ball. Fallin headed a GOP ticket in November that swept every statewide office and left the party in firm control of the Legislature.
