Bingman Makes Judicial Commission Appointment

After officially being elected President Pro Tempore on Tuesday announced his Judicial Nominating Commission selection today.

State Question 752, which passed by a vote of the people on November 2nd 2010, grants both the President Pro Tempore and the Speaker of the House a selection to the Judicial Nominating Commission.

The appointments will result in two additional members and give more input into the judicial selection process.

“I am proud to call on Dr. Don Murray to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission,” said Bingman. “He will be a great addition and he will bring practical experience from the private sector to benefit the judicial nomination process.”

Don P. Murray, M.D., resides in Edmond, Ok. A Ponca City native, Murray is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and the University Of Oklahoma School Of Medicine. Dr. Murray currently practices in Oklahoma City.
