Probe: 'Chaotic Pace' Favors Sneaky Legislation

The Oklahoman's Nolan Clay reports today that, "Lawmakers wait for the 'chaotic atmosphere and pace' of the last two weeks of legislative sessions to sneak things into bills 'that otherwise would be vetted out,' prosecutors told a judge Wednesday."

“One lobbyist noted that was just the way it works at the Capitol,” prosecutors wrote in an affidavit filed with the bribery charge against Rep. Randy Terrill and former Sen. Debbe Leftwich.
