Is John Bolton A Dark Horse For President?

Is former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton a potential Republican candidate for president in 2012?

That's the speculation circulating on the East Coast after Bolton told a reporter, in response to a question, that he might consider getting into the race. He said the field isn't defined, and he'd have as good a chance as anyone else in catching on.

He said if elected, he'd be the first president since Teddy Roosevelt with a moustache.

Bolton is widely popular in the National Rifle Association, and with conservatives in general, for his refusal to go along with UN gun ban proposals.
