Services Monday For Justice Marian Opala

Services for Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice Marian Opala will be held Monday at 4 p.m. in All Souls' Episcopal Church, 6400 N Pennsylvania Avenue.

It is requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to All Souls' or to the Justice Marian P. Opala Endowed Scholarship Fund at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

Justice Opala, 89, died Monday following surgery to correct the effects of a stroke apparently suffered on Saturday. A World War II hero of the Polish Underground, he had been a Capitol fixture since the mid-1960s when he was administrator of state courts.
