NRA-PVF Airs Pro-Fallin Radio Commercial

The National Rifle Association's Political Victory Fund, which has endorsed Mary Fallin in the governor's race, today began airing a radio commercial touting her support of 2nd Amendment issues.

The NRA-PVF airing of the ads is a step beyond what it normally does in races and is an action usually reserved for favored candidates with long records of support. Fallin has been rated an "A" by the group for years.  

Fallin faces Democrat Jari Askins on the November ballot; the NRA-PVF gives Askins an "A-" in its rating. Despite the high rating for Askins, the commercial says Oklahomans can't afford to "take a chance" on her as governor.
