Barresi's Editorial Endorsements Pile Up

Republican Janet Barresi has added numerous new editorial endorsements to her race for superintendent of public instruction.

Endorsing her last week were The Black Chronicle, Oklahoma Eagle, Friday, Edmond Life & Leisure, Mooreland Leader, Tulsa Today and Cherokee Messenger.

Today, The Oklahoman added to its previous endorsement of Barresi with this comment: "(Democrat Susan) Paddack's television ad accusing Barresi of helping create an 'elite' charter school is ridiculous. Oklahomans interested in changing the education status quo should vote for Barresi."
