Meacham: Citizens Find Unclaimed Property

From The Treasurer's Office ~ More than $130,000 in unclaimed property has been found so far this year for people attending the Oklahoma State Fair, State Treasurer Scott Meacham announced today.

Meacham made the announcement as he helped fair goers search for unclaimed property at the Pot of Gold booth at the fair in Oklahoma City.

Since the fair started last Thursday, some $132,767 has been found for 253 fair attendees. The largest, single find was more than $16,000 in oil and gas royalty payments discovered Tuesday by the grandson of the deceased owner who lived in Clinton.
