Former Legislator Ross Duckett Dead At 85

Former House member Ross Duckett of Mustang has died in Independence, Missouri. He was 85.

Duckett served four terms as mayor of Mustang.

He was elected to the House in 1973 and served until 1987.

Duckett will lie in state on the Fourth Floor Rotunda in the Capitol on Monday from 10 to 4.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at First  Baptist Church of Mustang.
